Goodbye

Sometimes we look for joy,
sometimes we seek the sadness.
It all seems to be an absurd ploy,
to conceal our inner madness.

A lie can save the day,
but at the end of the day it still is a lie.
And thats how it will stay,
no matter how hard we try and deny

Neither of us has to take the blame,
because we didn't commit any crime.
For me it was all but a game,
and you were having a good time.
